News Update
• Australia—here we come!
Fortune has smiled on a number of IMMF alumni from this past year and two of them in particular will find themselves in Australia very soon. Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Thuy (2005) won a two-year scholarship to pursue a master’s degree in Australia beginning in the latter half of 2007. Ms. Piyaporn Wongruang (2001) of the Bangkok Post will attend the 5th World Conference of Science Journalists in Melbourne, Australia in April 2007. This is the biennial conference of the World Federation of Science Journalists who believe that journalists have an essential role in reporting the impact of science and technology in all areas of human activity.
