WHAT WE DO

The IMMF conducts journalism training courses in Thailand for working journalists from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. These regional courses are conducted in English twice a year, usually in May and October. An important criterion for attending regional courses is proficiency in English.

In-country journalism training courses are conducted in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, using translators to reach those journalists with insufficient English to attend our regional courses held in Thailand. In-country courses are conducted on an ad hoc basis when funding is available and expert trainers can be found.
